The Operations Engineer II will participate in project teams researching technical topics related to company operations, new product implementation, assisting with existing products and services, and the overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of engineering. Performs event correlation and identifies probable root cause; provides trouble isolation, basic troubleshooting, and break/fix activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Analyzes and designs operations that will improve work flow, handle equipment layout, and help ensure accident prevention.
- Designs, builds, and improves enterprise system infrastructure throughout the large-scale supply chain network.
- Collects and organizes technical data related to assigned projects.
- Presents data and findings for review at the next level of engineering management.
- Identifies potential instrumentation, automation, and standardization required for successful implementation of projects or continued stabilization of deployed products.
- Understand and apply your general technical knowledge in regard to solving and handling moderate issues.
- Inspects facilities to ensure compliance with corporate standards and procedures relating to material handling, processing and storage.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Confirmed working knowledge in one of the following engineering disciplines: CIM, failure analysis, industrial, manufacturing, manufacturing equipment, process, product, quality assurance, reliability, supplier quality, test and tools.
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication, as you will present operations issues and proposals to managers.
- Proficient in computer-aided drafting (CAD) software, as well as basic computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite.
