Job Description

To lead the controllership function; i.e., accounting, taxation, financial reporting (including regulatory compliance), and cash management. 

• Prepare financial statements and provide timely, relevant and accurate monthly reporting and analysis of the results of the Company to facilitate decision making and reporting to shareholder representatives.
• Demonstrate appropriate understanding/working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Recommends accounting treatment for major financial transactions and changes in financial accounting policies, where applicable.
• Ensures the maintenance of appropriate business processes, controls and supporting structure necessary to facilitate accurate and complete capture, processing, aggregation, interpretation and conversion of business and financial information as inputs to the general ledger accounts that make up the financial statements.
• Recommends the appropriate tax treatment and makes the necessary consultations on tax matters that impact the Company on both a transactional and corporate-wide level.
• Monitor cash balances and perform the appropriate reconciliation and controls over cash to ensure sufficiency of cash balances for periodic requirements.
• Liaise with shareholder representatives on all accounting and financial reporting and taxation requirements.
• Coordinate with other team members that may require the needed info from financial reporting requirements.
  Liaise with external auditors on all audit requirements as well as other regulatory audit requirements (e.g., BIR, SEC, etc.).
• Other ad hoc functions, as deemed necessary.
