Responsibilities

  • Grow foreign exchange, fixed income and derivatives business through aggressive but appropriate sales and marketing activities to financial institutions and other organizations with the objective of achieving volume and income targets
  • Supervises Sales Traders in the daily servicing of clients foreign exchange, fixed income, structured products and derivatives requirements
  • Initiates, implements and evaluates business strategies to improve customer relationship, enhance client retention and loyalty, and derive additional business from new and existing accounts
  • Conducts marketing calls directly or jointly with Institutional Banking Sector-Financial Institutions Division (IBS-FID)/ Financial Markets Sector- Institutional Investors Coverage Division (FMS-IICD)
  • Coordinates with IBS-FID/ FMS-IICD regularly on accounts to be tapped and possible areas of cooperation
  • Develop talent and skill set of Sales Traders in accordance with business requirements
  • Performs customer profiling, suitability assessment, objectives setting and due diligence together with the RM
  • Conducts comprehensive product briefings to Relationship Managers (RMs)) to enhance product knowledge and capacity to spot opportunities for Treasury solutions selling
  • Ensures submission by Sales Traders of client call reports, progress and market feedback reports for regular submission to the ISD Head
  • Monitors accounts periodically to ensure volume and income growth and profitability of accounts
  • Ensures Department’s full compliance with internal and external policies and regulations; conducts activities with an awareness of the risks and prescribed controls
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
