Job Overview

The position will report to DND MPDE global/regional leader, own the final responsibility to organize the local MPDE team to work in the assigned scope, and cooperate with relative functions to manage NPI projects development and launching in TE DND Philippine plant.

• Organize to implement/maintain global/local NPI process, support to initiate/implement long/short term SET (strategy/ execution/talent) plan.
• Own the final responsibility of all the assigned NPI projects, from development to execution, through planning, launching, communication/reporting
• Develop/sustain the local MPDE team capability and capacity, by hiring/assessing and developing programs for each position
• Own the MPDE responsibility to lead/participate/cooperate in the local operation processes, events/activities (such as EHS, ISO, etc.)

What your background should look like:

• With at least 10-15 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering or quality or project engineering, with no less than 3 years of management position or equivalent experience
• The background/experience in electrical connector or other electrical component manufacturing industry with stamping, molding, plating, and assembly.
• Capable of PFMEA, DFM, tooling design, design software, data analysis software
• Be familiar with local culture, and be familiar with the local supplier base.
• Mechanical engineering or equivalent knowledge, fluent English speaking
