How it Works?

  • Register and Verify your Account by clicking the verification URL sent to your email used for registration. Check the spam folder if no email in your Inbox.
  • Login and Fill out the required fields in the Basic Information (click Hamburger menu > Profile Setup > Basic Information). For Individual members fill the Personal Details on the sidebar (click Hamburger menu > Profile Setup > Personal Details). For Organizations fill the Organization Details (click Hamburger menu > Profile Setup > Organization Details).
  • Upload your Profile Picture by clicking the Avatar on the top menu or by Clicking the Hamburger menu > Profile Setup > Change Profile Avatar.

Make your Profile Page appealing by using All the widgets and uploading a Cover image.

  • Fill out the Widgets. The widgets are easy to accomplish, so we only demo the About Me widget.

Click the Hamburger menu > Profile Setup > Profile Widgets > About Me. Upload an Image, fill out the Title, Description and short Biography.

For the Biography Text Area field, click Visual > Toolbar Toggle (rightmost) for easy styling of content.

  • Fill out the remaining optional Widgets on the Widget Settings: Skills, Portfolio, Services, Project, Quote, Link and Video.
  • Upload your Cover Image by clicking the Pink icon or by Clicking the Hamburger menu > Profile Setup > Change Profile Cover.

Click the Activity menu, to start posting the various media below:

A. Photo only

Click the Photo button to upload an image. You can post up to 5 images, to add more photo click the Attach icon.

You can Add Text, Emoticons and Hashtags in the Message field. You can Tag Friends, add Status and change the Privacy setting of your post. Click the Post button.

B. Photo with website URL

To post a photo that opens a website, click the Ellipsis button > Link button. Input an optional message and fill out the required fields: URL, Link Title, Short Description. Click the Attach icon and upload 1 Image. Click the Post button.

C. Video, Music and Live Stream

To post any media from YouTube, TikTok, SoundCloud and other platforms, copy and paste the URL into the message field. You can add Text, Emoticons and Hashtag before the URL. Click the Post button.

Note: Some YouTube videos cannot be played outside its platform. Delete your post if “Video unavailable” appears. Repost it, but delete the URL after showing the Thumbnail, so that it will be played on YouTube.

D. Website

To post a Website using its default Image, copy and paste the URL into the Message field. You can add content before the URL. Click the Post button.

E. Quote

Click the Quote button, fill out the Quote Owner and Quote Text. Click the Post button.

F. GIF

Click GIF button, input topic on the search field and click the GIF. Click the Post button.

G. Post Enhancement and Customization

In the Message field, you can input Text, URL, Emoticon and Hashtag. To enhance and customize the post, you can change the Privacy, add Status (Feeling/ Activity) and Tag Friends.

Everyone can submit a blog which shows in your Profile as Author provided it Passed moderation. Ensure your blog is interesting, original, informational, has an image and at least 400 words to be Published.

To post a blog, Log in then Click the Hamburger Menu > Blogs > Add Blog, and fill out the online form.

To edit a blog, Log in then Click the Hamburger Menu > Blogs > Edit Blog > Select your Blog and edit the post.

Organizations can post a Job Opening for FREE . The Job listing is moderated to ensure it’s authentic. Log in then Click the Hamburger Menu > Jobs > Post a Job. Fill out the fields > Click the Preview button to test the actual Appearance, if no error > click the Submit Listing button. If have an error, click Edit Listing button to return and fix the Listing.

To edit a job, Log in then Click the Hamburger Menu > Jobs > Dashboard, and click the listing.

Everyone can submit a Fundraising. Fundraisers are required to upload a photo of 1 Valid ID.

To post a fundraising, Log in then Click the Hamburger Menu > Fundraising > Add Fundraising, and fill out the online form.

To edit a fundraising, Log in then Click the Hamburger Menu > Fundraising > Edit Fundraising > Select Fundraising and edit your post.

There are many Privacy Setting configurations in the platform to ensure user Safety and maximum Reach.

A. User Profile Page SettingĀ (Hamburger menu > Profile Setup > Account Settings > Account Privacy)

Public User

  • This User will be listed in the members directory and in search results.
  • User content and activity will be visible to Social Place members and logged out user. User can use the Community Feed.

Private User

  • This User will be listed in the members directory and in search results.
  • User content and activity will only be visible to Friends. User activity will never show in the Community Feed.

B. Group Profile Page Setting (Click Group > Manage > Settings)

Public Group

  • Any site member can join this group.
  • This group will be listed in the groups directory and in search results.
  • Group content and activity will be visible to Social Place members and logged out user. Group activity will be visible in the Community Feed.

Private Group

  • Only users who request membership and are accepted can join the group.
  • This group will be listed in the groups directory and in search results.
  • Group content and activity will only be visible to members of the group. Group activity will not show in the Community Feed.

Hidden Group

  • Only users who are invited can join the group.
  • This group will not be listed in the groups directory or search results.
  • Group content and activity will only be visible to members of the group. Group activity will not show in the Community Feed.

C. Activity Post Setting (Click Activity > Public button)

User can customize the Privacy setting of every Activity post.

Public

  • Activity will be visible to any site member and logged out user.
  • Activity will show in the Community Feed if using a Public Profile. Private User will not show in the Community Feed

Only Me

  • Activity will be visible only to the user.

My Friends

  • Activity will be visible to the User friends only.

Members

  • Activity will be visible to Social Place members.

D. Profile Field Setting (Click Hamburger menu > Profile Setup > Personal or Organization Details)

In the Profile Information, user can change the Privacy settings of some fields.

Everyone

  • Information will be visible to Social Place members and logged out user.

Only Me

  • Information will be visible to the user only.

All Members

  • Information will be visible to Social Place members.

My Friends

  • Information will be visible to the user friends only.

To Create a Public, Private and Hidden Group, click the Hamburger Menu > Groups > Create Group.

To reduce and change the emails and notifications you receive, click the Hamburger menu > Profile Setup > Account Settings > Notifications. Turn off any item in the list and Save Changes.

Please make Social Place wholesome and interesting. The following Inappropriate Content is not allowed and may result to User and Group suspension:

a. Child Exploitation b. Direct Attack c. False News d. Gambling e. Hate Speech f. Misleading or Scam g. Nudity h. Profanity i. Prohibited Item j. Self Harm k. Sexually Inappropriate l. Spam m. Violence

We are using Community Moderation to prevent spread of Inappropriate Content and suspend the violator’s account.

  • To report a User and Group Page, hover the Cover Image > click the Report button. The Group and User will be automatically suspended, if have many reports due to inappropriate behavior.
    Moderators will review the Suspension, if valid the Account will be suspended for 15 days and if invalid the suspension will be lifted immediately. Three suspensions may result to Account Deletion.

  • To report an Activity post, hover the post > click the Ellipsis in the upper right corner > click the Report button > Fill out the Report Form. Warning: Repeated false reporting may also result to your suspension.

To Edit, Delete and Report an Activity post, hover the post > click the Ellipsis on the upper right corner to show the 3 options.

To message your Friends, Followers, etc., click the Messages menu > Compose. Input the user names, subject and message.

Boost your Social Media Pages and Website by connecting and playing your media at Social Place.

  • To link other Social Media Pages and Website to your Social Place profile page, click the Hamburger Menu > Profile Setup > Add Social Networks.
  • You can feature your website, video, etc. in your Profile by using the Widgets on Procedure #2.
  • To post media from other platforms, click Procedure #3C.

To make Social Place like an App in your smartphone, open the Social Place Home page > click the Ellipsis > click Add to Home screen > Rename to SP > click Add. During login, click Remember Me for easier access.
