1) Initiate projects relevant to the improvement of machineries & all types of machine process improvements.
2) As requested, assist & leads facilities & maintenance personnel involved in the repair of complicated machine troubles. Coordinates closely with the maintenance section on the specific causes of equipment intervention & initiates immediate measures.
3) Initiate projects relevant to the improvement of machineries & processes.
4) Monitors proper operation of machineries & equipment in the plant through ocular inspection & testing. Recommend findings & assist maintenance during the scheduled repair.
5) Supervise & implement energy savings projects spearheaded by engineering section in support to plant Goals.
6) Tours plant regularly to inspect performance of plant equipment & auxiliaries. Coordinates with the maintenance & production supervisors any immediate repair of plant machinery to avoid further damage.
7) Monitor & control Engineering costs.
8) Performs necessary adjustments and calibration of equipment as deemed necessary through proper coordination to Production, QA, & Maintenance section.
9) Assist local & foreign engineers during the commissioning job of new machine & equipment.
10) Conducts technical training pertaining to the operation & maintenance of newly acquired machineries.
11) Continuously supports the compliance of both DPI’s Quality and Environment, Health and Safety Management System policies and procedures.
12) Perform other duties that may be assigned to, or required by the job.
